Its on an All In One Gateway Desktop Computer I found.

I turns on, but it says no keyboard or mouse are plugged in, which there wasnt, but there was no hard drive in the computer. If thats fixable, can I just plug in an IDE HDD, boot up, and if it works, buy the right size drive?

:eek::eek::eek::eek: hhhmmm - that doesn't look to good!!!!! \

uumm you if be careful - get some pointy nosed pliers and carefully straighten then and then try it.

dont worry about it. Its not a good thing, but i had bent pins on my dvd drive once. just bend them back, its all good. either take the v3kll aproach with the pliers, or just take ur finger in their and bend it back using ur nails.

Now having a good luck - the last pin, bottom row, right hand side - it has broken off - so it might not work properly. :confused:

Are they only bent? you can certainly bend them back. But, i can't say for sure.. but it looks like there is a broken pin.

If all else fails, buy a IDE PCI card.

It should work, just get some pliers, or something thin so you can grip the pins to straighten them. After you have straighten them it shoud work without a hitch.

Even if you bend all of them back perfectly, one has already completely broken off and can not be seen anywhere in that picture :(
