Well I can't really tell what the settings of the game are at (Minus the 8xAA bit) I've heard of the new nVidia drivers having some serious issues at real high resolutions, as may be the case here. If it is, this issue is supposed to be cleared up real soon. I mean I'm all for ATI haha, but the 480 is a stronger card, and Crysis isn't exactly known for its hospitality towards ATI's cards.

The games were running at absolute maximum settings @ 1080p.

I know this is warhead but just look..

One driver and whoop! you'll see GTX 480 increase fps in this game and crysis.

EDIT: Also, what cpu? what ram? same comp or not?

You don't know the rest of the system so you can't say "it is a fake" and compare it to ONE (1) other benchmark.

(This isn't just to you) Rather than posting your fanboyisms and not taking into acount the pros and cons of each, where the figures have come from the validity of all benchmarks, why not go look it up and have more of an open mind. If you can't do that, don't post

He posted a benchmark, i posted three benchmarks in respond. You're agitating members when telling them how to post, and when calling others fanboys. It's not wrong to post a bench or two.. So, if you can't behave yourself then dont post. Have a nice day..

Please revise your behaviour because you're agitating members when telling them how to post, and when calling others fanboys. It's not wrong to post a bench or two.. It is 3 of the same game.

You stated it is fake when I highly doubt it is

Everyone on here knows you are an nvidia fan boy and can't stand to see evidence that they aren't as good as you and nvidia workers like to think they are.

Boo ****ing hoo if you are agitated, grow a pair. I've sat in threads for weeks/months now holding my tongue to people like you and **** it, I'm not any more.

Unless you can post conclusive proof it is incorrect, unless you can post conclusive proof that nvidia are always better in performance, stfu. We know what we are talking about, hell, 99% of the active comunity knows a hell of alot more than you, and such a shame if you get upset, do you want a hug and a tissue?

And now this thread just turned into 17 year kids "qq'ing" eachother online.

This would be great to read if I was on my toilet with my blackberry...

oh wait.. ;)

Sir I am by no means QQing, merely stating a fact that has been said by several members several times

=EDIT=

oh, and while I am at it, I apologise to ScottALot for saying that is his thread

benchmarks in general are BS since it doesn't reflect real world performance on every single hardware/software configuration out there. Back when I gave two craps of benching systems to get that extra 3 frames per a second on my tweaked system, I had a single driver update boost my frames by 7 per a second. Drivers did that.

Who cares, both cards play the game perfect. I am not happy with Nvidia right now, their drivers suck hard core. I had to return my GeForce 210 a few days ago for an ATI equivalent because Nvidia's drivers do not allow audio over HDMI in Linux. ATI worked out of the freaking box!

Right now I gotta hand it to ATI. Their drivers are better, their cards consume less power and generate less heat, and pound for pound they can hold their own against any Nvidia counter part.

Benchmarking doesn't mean your system is better than everyone else's because you got an extra 3 FPS over some other card.

It does make you wonder when each test in the graphs were done. I mean if you have kept up to date with ATI driver updates they gave made big improvements in Crysis. It is very easy to believe that when they tested the new GTX card they used old test score.
I do believe the new nvidia cards are faster than the current 5 series ATI cards though. I am not sure they are a better value.

+1 its about time somebody said it

I feel the same way I have never trusted benchmarks. There are just to many thing that can change the outcome of a benchmark.

Please keep the discussion on topic, and stop going after eachother. Otherwise, this thread will be closed. Thank you.
