Short answer.... no!

That is all very old technology, as in six to eight years old. I would not expect to pay more than £80 for that. How much is the asking price?

Doug.

Processor is single core - nowadays quadcore is the norm really, although dual core is definitely still viable. It isn't even the fastest single core (P4 went up to 3.8Ghz). Many modern games require a dual core CPU now. Your mobo may be able to have a dual core.

Ram is DDR - DDR2 has been standard for several years now, and DDR3 has been released recently (all of these are quicker).

CD ROM - many games now come on DVD's, although this is easily upgraded for £15 or so.

Integrated video - that will play basic, old games. As you don't have a PCI-E slot on the mobo you are limited to upgrading to AGP cards, which are becoming rarer and rarer, and subsequently more and more expensive.

Power supply - As it is a prebuilt system the power supply will be suited to running that only. If you did want to upgrade then you would probably need a new power supply.

That computer will be fine for internet usuage, word processing etc., but not good for any games really. Definitely not new games. I think it would cost the same to upgrade that computer as it would to buy a new budget gaming system, which would probably be better.

CF member Eliminator wrote some good threads on building budget computers if you search for those.

Hope that helps, Doug.

could u post a link to these budgeting guides and i would like to know how much it would cost to upgrade the processor?

There is no point to upgrade.
The socket type of mobo is out of date.
Re-build the whole system would looking at $500...
