I'm looking to buy a gaming desktop, I found one on ibuypower.com "Gamer Mage D335"

Here is its specs:
Processor - [= Quad Core =] AMD Athlon™ II X4 640 Quad-Core CPU
Video Card - ATI Radeon HD 5770 - 1GB - HIS IceQ 5 Turbo - Single Card
Motherboard - Gigabyte GA-770T-USB3 -- AMD 770
Hard Drive - 64 GB HARD DRIVE -- 64M Cache, 7200 RPM, 6.0Gb/s
Processor Fan - Enermax Silent High Performance Fan
Case - NZXT Alpha Gaming Case
Operating System - Windows 7 64 bit
Power Supply- 600 Watt

Im not sure if this is good enough for games such as Farcry 2, if not some info on what I could do to improve it would be nice.

It should be able to play games like Farcry 2, but if you plan on maxing out newer games, I'd look into a better video card and processor.

Also that hard drive is quite small, I'd look into getting atleast a 500 gb hard drive.

I have that GPU and play maxed out everything on all games at 1080 x 900 HD.

How much RAM are they giving you?

Nothing else needed, except I wouldn't get that no-name PSU. Very important part of a computer. I would negotiate an upgrade to at least a quality brand name.

Typo, it is a 640 gb hard drive. About the power supply would a 750 Watt -- Thermaltake TR2 TRX-750M be good enough? Also I'm getting 7200 RPM.
Thanks for the help.

No to that psu. Check the stickey on psu recommends. Corsiar/Silverstone/most Antecs/Seasonic/XFX...
That 640 is a good drive. It has 3 platters.
Consider WDB 1TB has 2 platters. Seagate 7200.12 500=1 platter, and Samsung F3- F4.
