Whats all the rave of a thinkpad? I had a t450 an it was nice... but it wasnt something to write home about
The keyboard is second to none in terms of laptops. The T series is ok~ish... but I was thinking more along the lines of their Carbon and Yoga series Thinkpads.

Expensive for Just the name for it. I would personally go with something in the HP range rather than lenovo. At the end of the day though it depends on what you're using it for.
Gaming yes, productivity no, there are better alternatives out there for a better price point.

No video card? Probably drop the water cooling to an air cooler and put the money toward a video card.

Its already built. He wants to start over. Yea it needs a gpu.. but i dont feel like getting all the parts ordered an building it. Outta town alot working. Was just going to stuff a 1070 8gb card in it.
