Price = $999.99

DELL Inspiron 17 5000 Series
Specs:
- Windows 10 64-bit
- Intel i7-6500U
- 2.5 ~ 2.6 GHz
- 8GB RAM
- Intel HD Graphics 520 & AMD Radeon R5 M335
- 17.3 inches
- 1920 x 1080

I think it was a rip off, mainly due to the graphic card, I've seen other laptops that even has a NVIDIA GTX and it's about the same price. I bought this laptop recently and can still change.

I'd return it, if you can.

The gpu is crap for gaming, and the CPU is a dual core,

You can get a gtx960m gpu and quad core for similar money!
The 6500U is a dual core, but it's got HT so he's got 4 threads.

Still, for the money spent it's kind of crap. My laptop would game better and it's 2 years old and was $630 when I bought it. It's got a GT 740M which ranks quite a bit higher than the 335 according to this. The list on the right is ranked in order of performance and the 740M is pretty far above it, and still just an entry level gaming card for a laptop at best.

There are a ton of Asus and Msi for $999 range with 6700hq quad, 8-16gb ddr4, 500-1tb or ssd, gtx960m
This. One of my friends got basically this setup recently and it blows mine out of the water many times over, and by proxy the one you bought as well.
