is this mobo decent?

If you want to overclock, that's a no no. You want a Z77 board and s 3570K, not a 3570.

But if you just want it for general use, it's fine. Spend a bit more though... £36 is low for a board.

thing is, with a 3570 i dont really need to be overclocking, so an overclocking board is not top of my priority, just need a board thats stable, can handle 1600 ddr3 ram

Most of the lower end boards only support 1333MHz or 1066MHz RAM. I'd advise spending more than £36 on a board to be honest. I've gone cheap in the past, not good. Get something good because you never know what you might want to do in the future. Get ATX if possible too, not mATX or smaller unless you want it in a small case.

At the moment I prefer ATI/AMD. HD 7850 and 7870 are great for the price. I think the 7850 is about £150.

Not the best but nothing terribly wrong with that psu, but if you plan to run a demanding graphics card then maybe upgrading would be smart

yeh i got this psu quite a number of years ago to power my 8800gtx because in its hay day is was very power hungry. I been playing farcry 3 on my current build and the 8800gtx still pulls its weight

Yeah I agree with Jonny. For a 7850 or a 7870 or a 660 Ti or whatever you get i think you should get a better PSU. Corsair CX 600 would be good, and it's quite cheap!

i5 3570
motherboard (that can take 1600ram)
16gb ram

ive used scan and ebuyer, and ebuyer comes out cheaper
