Have you looked at any of the Gigabyte boards, you can get a D3 for a pretty good price.

It looks perfect, especially as it has a great amount of ram slots. But as kornowski said, you could find a cheaper one.better item for around the same price

This is a great board and it isn't that much more expensive than the one you showed us. Gigabyte are a really popular make, lot's of people on CF use them. I'm using the board I've linked to in my next build.

Just out of interest, with that board in the link, what is the difference between pci-e 1x and pci? i always thought that pci was the 1x

Ok. yeah i looked it up on google and it came up with some article about how they couldn't find very many things that were made for it. Thats probably why I havent heard much about it.

Ah, some TV cards use them, Hauppauge or whatever they're called made one, t'was in Micro Mart a while ago.

As far as I know they dont have any sound cards yet, but they have RAID controllers, NIC cards, add-on cards, etc.

I wouldn't buy it... check out the reviews... looks like you're buying a $90 headache.
