Hello

So i just got a new mouse today, and well after i plugged it in and all, i started noticing some strange things

First thing after first plug in was my Keyboard did not work at all, plugged in / out, ultimately restarting. Then my computer just hanged on the motherboard loading screen for about 15 seconds, where it normally stays for about 2. The keyboard works fine after the restart tho

So i unplugged the mouse and putt in my old one, restarted the Computer, and the loading screen on the motherboard only lasted its normal 2 seconds. Shut down the computer, plugged back in my new mouse, and again, Motherboard loading screen lasted 15 seconds

So far the very long Motherboard loading screen with the new mouse is the only "problem" i can find, but still it worries me that its even doing this, and makes me think if i continue to use it, my Computer will die

No they are both USBs, But i switched my mouse into the front USB slot on my computer (Have Haf 912) and it does not do any of the slow start ups, But the mouse button 2 is broken so i RAAGED and going to go to wall mart to refund and buy another xD, its a cool mouse but this scared me

But yeah, Plugging it into the back, in the socket directly next to the USB socket my Keyboard is connected to causes my boot up to take a long time. Moving it to the one of the front USB sockets causes it to load normally. Any idea why?

Look in your BIOS anyway and see if USB Support for your mouse is enabled even though your old mouse was USB and it worked fine. It may be that the port you are trying to plug your mouse into is shorting or failing, it happens, happened to me on an old laptop and I had the same sort of symptoms (slow start-ups and immediate system shut downs if you plugged anything into the port).
