When it says "memory standard" it means that is the maximum speed of memory that will work. You can always use slower stuff.
Also, provide details on what components you are using in it.

Sorry, 7600gt 256 mb gddr3 pci-e, Psu has both 20/24. ddr2 cooling is standard (2 case fans 1 80 mm 1 120 i believe) Right now Id hope to use my pentium 4 3.0 ghz it is a lga775. This is what it sas in pc wizard Intel pentium 4 531j support lga775. But I'd upgrade to quad core, and a 600 watt psu :).

Can it use p35 and p45 when it comes out? As I said future proof I dont need ddr3 because it runs at same speeds right now. Can this handle those new ones that come out in like a year? like the p45 i think it is or p65? Btw im planning on putting http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820231122 in it when I get it, also I only have a 400w I thought it was a 300 - 350 but its a 400 so will it support my new set up? (intel quad a new mobo like this one and 4 gb of ddr2?)

DDR2 533Mhz would work but, it would be dumb. Go with 800Mhz, The P35 is a pretty good board, Gigabyte will probably be making the best one. They had such success with the 965G and 965P DS3's and S3's.

Does any1 know if this http://www.newegg.com/Product/ShowI...A+nForce+650i+SLI+ATX+Intel+Motherboard+-+OEM will handle the quad thats going to be a $266 on july 22nd? If it is I'd wrather get this one. Well it seems like it has so much problems with reviews of not being able to handle 4 gb and not good enough instructions, needing certain psu. Kind of scares me. That looks like a good board but I'd rather get one easy for beginners to start with ya know? http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813131180 Is that a good quality? I like the reviews not that bad I dont need sliing but it would be nice. I'd rather get a p35 but I just don't know lol.

I would get a Gigabyte P35 like this one, this DS3 was once a great 965P board. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813128050 You could go with the EVGA 680i, I am sure Asus is a good board, I just don't use them. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813188019

The DS3R is probably the best OC'er out there, Gigabyte has a good rep for OC'ing and the P35 is more efficient than older chipsets, a Core 2 has crazy OC'ing on there. A DS3+P35 chipset+Core 2=a sweet combination
