Is this possible??

GTFO, so i can throw my PSU in there also?? I thought since oil was still a form of liquid it wouldnt really work... So does the oil neutralize the heat from the board? or how does that work exactly??

You would need a radiator of some sort to disappate the heat. The issue with putting a power supply in there is that it can cause some caps to swell, adds alot of extra heat, etc. Best to leave PSU out of the tank.
 
There's a website out there somewhere where this guy sells pre-made mineral oil PC kits. I'm pretty sure one of the kits needed no radiators (probably a low end system though).

Yea tell me about it. I dont think i would do it... I read in my A+ book about some small refridgeration unit that replaces a fan... Ill see what i find about that. I have heard of problems with water forming inside the case though. That cant be too good :eek:

I think ill just find a way to hook up an industrial fan to my case :cool:
