is this powerful enough for gaming?

would be powerful enough do some quite highend gaming coupled with probably a 8800gt

What games are you trying to play? Also, what video card are you going to get? I bet with a descent video card you can run a majority of the games out. Some better than others.

the games i am wanting to run are games like call of duty 4 and i am also in to driving games so colin macrae rally dirt i would love to be able to play. i am thinking of getting a nvidia 8800 to go with the motherboard and cpu above do you recon this combination will run high end game or not?
