Price: $1546.00 Also this is probly a stupid question but this should be able to run the newest games out such as UT3 the up coming spore title and Crysis?

Poor set-up. Could get a better performance with $1500 if you build yourself.

PSU: this system should need no more than 600W

RAM: What is the point of getting 4GB DDR2 RAM when you runing 32bit OS only ulitlise 3-3.5 GB RAM.
Normal DDR2 800 is only $120 for 4GB. What is the point spending $200 for DDR2 1066?

MB: if you really want to SLI on AMD set-up. 590i chipset is the way to go, not 570i. In case you not running SLi, you should go for AMD 7XX chipset instead.

By the way, most ppl go for intel set-up these dates.

I would still recommend the Core 2 Duo/Quad over the AMD X2 series. If you want to go the SLI route, you can then go with the 680i series if you don't want to spend a fortune on a motherboard.

Typical intel <$1500 set-up
E8400
Zalman 9700
X38/ 780i chipset MB
2 x 2GB DDR2 800 RAM
500GB HDD
DVD burner
8800GTS 512MB/ HD3870
Quality 500W+ PSU
Decent case

MB: Get a P35 board
Optical: DVD burner
HDD: is 74GB enough? May need a second 7200 RPM HD

74 Gb for now yeah. I do not like having alot of shit on my computer. Anyway I should not have problems playing any of the newer games right? Been playing pc for quite awhile now but i am new to the qaud core and dual core processors so i do not know much about them. I did research on the processors dual and quad i know what they do but have not used them for gaming. Any information would be quite appreciated. Oh and thanks for the current help.
