Is this PSU compatible with my case and motherboard?

I have a Dell Inspiron 530 quad core that is stocked with all of the standard gear. I bought a new graphics card, the 1gb Radeon HD 4650 and installed it and everything worked fine at first. Now I'm getting errors, my computer is heating up excessively, and I've noticed a blue gelatin leaking out of my power supply. My assumption is that I'm blowing the capacitors because the card says it requires 400 Watt power supply, and mine is a 350 watt. Would this 550 watt power supply be sufficient to run my machine, and will it be compatible with both my motherboard and the case?

Do not use your computer until you get a new power supply unit, if you do, you could blow your whole machine. Take out the old power supply and see if there is a model number on it so we can see what type of unit it is.

It seems its a standard atx unit so what you linked to should work. Might want to verify the dimensions that they match the old unit to verify that it will fit.
