Well as the title says

My next build will be a
Intel Core 2 Quad Q9450 2.66Ghz
a P35 mobo (supports DDR2/3)
2 gigs+ ram
Nvidia GeForce 8800GTS (or the new 98xx series (seeing as the 9600 can slightly keep up with the 8800GT))

will this PSU be enough? Or should i get more to be future proof (i know also about the 12v rails amps etc)

And also, do you think as time goes on, will you need more or less power, as they try to make components more efficient.

Do not get the eXtremepower lineup. They're pretty low grade and are mostly all over rated. See if you can get a Corsair PSU.

AOpen is owned by Acer. It's their "value" line... Considering that Acer itself is pretty much a value line, you fill in the blanks.

The GameXstream is built by FSP. The Toughpower is built by Channel Well Technologies. Modular or not, it doesn't seem like a tough choice to me. Might as well save a few dollars and buy the FSP FX-Epsilon 700W.

See im in South Africa! Therefor prices here are whopping. A OCZ 700 is R1350 which is $167!!!!!!!!!

so yeah....

So between the 2, OCZ is the way to go?

Also im going to get the Centurion 590 (bottom mount PSU), are the cables long enough to be tied and to reach slots?

What I'm saying is buy the FSP FX-Epsilon, because it's pretty much the same PSU as the GameXstream, only cheaper. Made by the same company even.
