Is this right? My TF720 mobo

I was googling my TF720 motherboard so I could find the specs on Biostar and the list of compatible CPU's, but the mobo in the Biostar link doesn't look the same as my motherboard, and the compatibily is different (my mobo manual doesn't say it's AM3 ready). Here's the link to the Biostar TF720:

Same mobo on newegg:

Could Biostar have revised the motherboard and BIOS? Should I flash my BIOS so it'll be compatible with the new CPU's? Is flashing the BIOS mandatory, or optional? This summer I'm going to buy a Phenom II, so despite if it's optional, I'll still flash it. I'm just curious for future mobo's I'll be handling. Thanks a lot in advance for answering.

Please be ensure to update the latest BIOS before review our CPU support list.

You'll need to update the BIOS in order for AM3/Phenom II support.
