Is this the most efficent setup?

I'm putting together a computer. I've picked:

G.SKILL F3-10666CL9D-8GBSR memory
INTEL Core I5-2400 processor
INTEL BOXDZ68DB Z68 LGA 1155 motherboard

Is this a very efficent setup as far as data transfer? I know that the processor and memory together have an influence on this.

Are there any other considerations I should know that would influence processor performance?

Any ideas for substitutions or changes will be very welcome.
