Well I have an old computer with integrated graphics, I wanted to upgrade my computer to a nvidia 8400gs (I only have a PCI slot), but then I heard from somewhere that there was an nvidia 8500gt PCI. Is that true????

Thanks!!!!!! :D

You did not answer his question

@ OP: No, there's no such thing as an 8500GT PCI. The 8 Series only came out in PCI-E

I saw an 8400gt PCI in the stores and I saw the the 8500gt PCI online i can show you the link if you want.

Thanks for the reply

I'm almost certain there's no 8500GT for PCI, even 8400GS they produced as a PCI card only for people who do not have the option to upgrade to a PCI-E graphics card and it happened to be the absolute lowest end. For what I know, the PCI-bus would bottleneck even a 8400GS pretty bad even though it's the lowest end of the 8-series, so making a PCI-version of 8500GT would be pointless anyways as the performance gains would be minimal, if any.

Oh I think you're right. I went with my friend Google and found out that apparently, the manufacturer "Sparkle" is coming with a 8500GT PCI version. I don't know any release dates/prices though.
