in Windows XP Home, my PS/2 keyboard and mouse lock up when i do a Start->Run or a CTRL-ALT-DEL and many other important tasks. my USB keyboard and mouse work fine. this looks to me like virus activity. it only happens in Windows and i just got done removing 3 viruses with AVG and a bunch of other malware with ewido, spybot, and adaware. never seen anything like it. any help would be appreciated.
