Okay, so i have a camera, a Sony DSC-S700. It uses one of these memory sticks:

I don't have an adapter or anything, and i need to get a couple of pictures off of it.

Would this adapter do the job?

My dad is the manager of a jaycar store, so he can get staff pricing on it, but is it what i need?

Is that a micro SD? If so you may also need the micro to full SD adapter too.

That's a pro duo, hence what is written on it. Micro sd is a different shape (and the size of a fingernail).

I intend to get one of those all in one readers becuase i have heaps of adapters and they are using up all my USB ports

My dad works at jaycar, so he gets staff pricing off anything and occasionally freebies. (we got a whole massive box full of batteries because a couple of packets got wet.)

im gonna sound stupid here but why not just use the supplied usb chord for the camera to transfer? plus if you do that you can even write other things to the memory stick if you wanted. i know my cybershot has a thing that can make slideshows with your music. and its free.
