Hi guys,i'm new to the forum and I recently discovered this page and was wondering if it would serve it's purpse.http://www.maximumpc.com/article/features/how_build_awesome_pc_647 I want a gaming PC to keep up with today's games but don't have $3,000 bucks to dispose on one.I would add more expensive parts then what they call for in some spots,my budget is a little higher then that.If anyone knows offtop what I would need to build a decent computer around 800-1000 bucks I'd be very thankful..Thanks in advance!

Daisy that is a sweet build as well I'm intrigued I just want to know if it has a quad core? I couldn't tell

I noticed both builds called for 4GB of ram,is that decent? I'm sure games coming out soon require atleast that right? I have an ASUS laptop with 5gb of ram I just want a powerful desktop could I squeeze in 6 gigs with those parts?
