Is vista Worth It?

I was thinking of upgrading to vista just because I was wondering if it really does run faster? can anyone conform this or can you tell what some other advantages of it are, last will most of my programs work on vista?
 
Use the search feature this has been throughly discussed manytimes. Vsita depends on your machine and yours would probably fly with it... Most to all programs work on vista now...
 
definitely. home premium is really all you need. ultimate if you dont have a budget but home prem is fine with me.
