is XP compatible with dirext10?

and is windows vista out now? i know i may be kinda late but im seeing alot of windows vista post.

and if vista is out what version should i get?

which ones the upgrade version and which one is the version i can use to reformat computer?
 
u mean business edition? no XP is not compatible with dx10. but unless u NEED vista really badly, or really want DX10, then stick to XP. vista is overrated.
 
You can have DX10 cards on XP, but you can't actually utilize DX10 and play DX10 games on XP, only on Vista.
 
Guys, of course, Vista Ultimate would be the best. But my question is this, can I run a Vista Biz Edition Server networked to 2 XP Pro.'s?

I have Vista Business x86 and I connect to an XP Pro and XP Home machine where I share files, printers, and remote desktop.
