hmm so i`m thinking of getting t`net back in,but i`m not sure who to go with,i was going to go with AOL but they are owned by talk talk,and my mum`s having ALOT of hassle with them(she sent the router/modem back and cancel the broadband,this when it was with tiscali,but now TT are saving she hasn`t sent the box back and she hasn`t cancelled it,which is all BS)
So who would you advise me to go with that isn`t owned by Talk Talk.I heard bt is raising their prices and i think virgin is partly owned by sky if i`m correct?

Any advice e.g what your service is like the company itself,pricing etc.

P.S the download limit isn`t done by the page size is it? it`s by actually how much you download?
 
I would not go with TalkTalk,CarfoneWH,Tiscaly or AOL.......

They are all owned by CarfoneWH and are cr@p.

You may get a decent connection but its intermittent.

I was with Tiscaly for 4 years.

2 years in they were taken over.

Then from then all iv had is problems!

They disconnect me for over usage of uploading ... Im on the unlimited package , And only DL and UL big files at night. 12am > 8am...

Im changing to Plus.Net

They have a limit but only between 8am to midnight.

I agree, any company owned by the carphone warehouse is not worth even thinking about. I use a company called Eclipse Internet, based in Exeter, Devon. Never had any issues with them.
