Have any of you heard or experienced true wireless internet. Is it the kinda thing whereever your cell phone has signal you have internet or am i wrong?
 
No...he's completely right. Complete wireless internet has been out for a few years, but it's still very expensive and very slow. My cellphone has the option to get online, but you're quite limited by the phone's capabilites(real basic HTML) There are cables and PC-Cards that allow you to get online like this. I've seen seen a compact flash card for PDAs that had a slot in it for SIM cards, Then you could just connect to the internet though it or make phone calls though your PDA.
 
Hmmmm. Not great for general web surfing, but if you desperately needed to get your email and were in an area without Internet access I suppose it could be quite handy. I'm sure that the capabilities and price will improve over the next few years though.
