Hi everyone,
I'm new to the forums and like most people I already have a big question to ask/problem.
So here it goes...
I have not been up with the latest and greatest in computers for a long while now but decided to go and buy a new desktop today. I pieced it all together with the following parts bought:
ASUS GeForce 9800GT Hybridpower
Intel DualCore 2.5GHz
ASUS P5KPL/1600 MoBo
2 x 2GB Kingston DDR2 1066 RAM
550W PSU (Already had it from the last comp)
Here's where the problem kicked in... When i powered the thing up the G/Card fan does not spin and i get a loud high pitched sound coming from somewhere...
I know that HybridPower means that the G/card is off when not needed and that you need a MoBo to support it but i wouldnt think that could be the problem...or could it?
I would really appreciate any ideas...
Cheers
