Issues with Intel Wireless WiFi Link 4965AGN

I recently bought a Sony Vaio with Intel Wireless WiFi Link 4965AGN, and Vista as the OS. Everything was working just fine up until a couple of days ago, when it just stopped working. Along with the internet, my Adobe Flash crashed and won't even turn on, and the actual computer has crashed and reboot itself a few times.

The internet works now when I directly connect the router to the laptop, but the wireless adapter isn't detected. I've tried turning off and disabling it from the Device Manager, then re-abling it, but it did nothing.

My router is a Linksys Wireless-G, 24 GHz.

Can someone help me with this?

Have you tried to reinstall the driver for the wireless NIC?

Do you know what caused the computer to crash? A virus?

Have you thought about doing a system restore to roll the machine back to an earlier date (before you had trouble.)
