Issues with ThermalTake 1000WATT PSU

Hey whats up. I am a new member here and was just woundering if any of you had issues with Thermaltake Toughpower Power Supplies.

I just recently had one just up and quit on me after 1 year of use. It actually shorted out and caused my battery backup to kick in the overload protection. Now TT wont RMA it because it was a gift and I don't have the receipt.

Anyone else have issues?

I have a 750W model. No issues. In fact I just ordered another for my next build.
