It this desktop worth 250$?

Basically I bought a computer off a friend's friend and want to to know whether or not was it worth 250$ that I paid for. This desktop is custom build USED without any accessories (No keyboard, monitor, mouse, speakers)

CPU: AMD Phenom II x4 955 Quad Core 3.2ghz
RAM: 6gb DDR3 1600 Crucial Ballistix
PSU: 1000w Modular Rosewill
Mother board: GA- MA70XT UD4P Dual Bios
1 Terabyte Hard Drive
Cover Case: Radimax Smilodon
(Gave me a free Nvidia 8500GT, but I switched it to my GTS 250 since it was lagging in the games I played)

Before I purchased I conducted a price checking base off of Ebay, which this is the best I could find.
List of Ebay prices I've found bare min. prices (Buy it Now w/o shipping using lowest prices)

Processor- 120$
RAM -52$
Hard drive - 60$
PSU - 120$
Cover case - 90$
Mobo -100$
Total: 542$ with free shipping.
basically about 50% off Ebay for the parts what do you guys think? Was it a fair price, or was it to my or his advantage? Opinions please, thanks =]

Also, could someone recommend me a better graphics card under 100$ thanks in advance

none =[ he said he wanted to sell his graphic card (which was 500$) to his friend, if he included it was gonna be too high of a price for me anyways. I just replaced the Nvidia GeForce 8500GT with GTS 250
