its about time, what do you think

Hi all, for as long as i can remember my computer/s have been about 5 years behind the times - allways something else comming first before my pc. so could never afford any good upgrades - this of course left me playing colonization when others where playing civs 2, playing doom while others are playing half life (well ya get the picture) but finally my time has come (opaid off most of my debts). I am planning on saving £69 a month till november then doing a big upgrade. what i am after is playing rainbow 6 vegas with full graphic options...here is what i am thinking
motherboard : AMD gigabyte GA-M57SLI-S4 PCI-E/Gigalan.
Processor: Athalon 64 x2 5600+ Duel Core.
Graphics card: PCI-E ATI Radeon x1950 pro 256mb sapphire.
Ram: 2 x 1Gig DDR2 pc2 6400 800mhz.

What does everyone think?, as i am new to upgrading i would appricate anyones views and also does anyone know if this would be able to handle
RS vegas at full res

If i was you, i would wait until November when your gonna get your computer. Technology changes so fast and if you plan your build now, by the time it comes to the end of the month there are already better hardware options out there.;)
