Its Final

ok i ran into a new problem. my sufficiently powered psu doesnt have the plug to go into my radeon x850xt pe. the computer doesnt work as well without a video card of some sort. im going to run down to fry's electronics tommorow and buy one. its gonna hurt my wallet though as the cd-rw drives there cost $50.

You can get one of the PCI-E power adaptors, they look like this:

(You probably would have received one with the video card anyway). Shouldn't be too expensive, and saves you getting a new PSU (although that wouldn't be a bad idea anyway).
 
i dont think i have enough 4 pins to run it and it would strain my psu a lot so i think im just gonna get a new psu. should only cost like 50-60 bucks.
 
I went out and bought a new psu and im glad I did. it is so much nicer with its wrapped cords and such. And best of all, it came with a free bag. I got a 535W Enermax. My new computer is so much unbelievably nicer than my old dell. I dont know how I survived with that piece of junk.
