As brief as possible:
Running windows 7 64 bit. All drivers are newest available. No malware of any kind after running AVG, mbam, and hijack this.

Problems started when my games dropped from 47(ish) fps to around 15.
Games would frequently freeze, I would get BSOD, and most of the time games would crash while playing. Just randomly shut down.

Ran some stuff on the graphics card from EVGA. Have a NVIDIA GTS 250. They replaced it.

Also, tried running test AMD Overdrive. Installed fine, didn't run. No matter what I did. Installed two or three versions of it and all came up with the same error saying it can't run.

Loaded the new one. Same problems again. But now. My computer randomly SHUTS OFF. Doesn't matter if the computer is idling or if I am playing games.

Currently running MemTest. Had to REMOVE graphics card because it would get to around 9% complete and shut off every time. After removing graphics card, no more shut downs.

Upon removing graphics card, I plugged in my monitor to motherboard after the new drivers installed (For motherboard) automatically by windows 7 and now I only see colors GB instead of RGB. On top of that, The detail is shaking like very fine noise. Detail edges are looking disrupted.

On top of all this, I have noticed some major slow downs with Windows itself starting about 4 months ago. Explorer crashes a lot, gifs no longer play in any windows program and I have to use IE to view it (used to just fine), gifs viewed in IE will slow to about 1 frame per 1.8 seconds after the first 3 frames, computer takes a while to register a click, files from hard drive seem to be reading slower (640 gig 7200 rpm with a 16 mb-cache, tests ran show drive is good), my mouse slows to a crawl a lot, keyboard randomly turns off (Have to unhook and rehook USB port in mobo to fix), and minor graphical issues like slight pixelation in the Windows simbol and other things (This prompted me the virus scans but nothing came up).

Is it my power supply (Since the new graphics card is causing shut downs), motherboard (for not being able to deal with new graphics card or monitor ports), Is it the graphics card (again), or is it the memory(which is only 30% complete so far with no errors)?

All parts are less than 8 months old, with the new graphics card being recieved via RMA last week.

Well honestly it sounds like the motherboard..... I mean its the only part that could cause all those problems including the slow downs + the keyboard acting up like that.

Do you by chance have a friend that has a similar setup as you to test your GPU/Processor just to make sure (ruling it out might help things along to being 100%)? The memory USUALLY will just reboot the PC when its bad (least the only 3 sticks I have had issues with did this) I would still do 1-2 100% passes to be 100% sure though.

Also just to be safe id try and install HDTune Pro (free trial) http://www.hdtune.com/ and see if your HDD is getting any warnings from it. I found it to be very accurate in pointing out areas of issue. Also depending on your HDD there are tools for each model. Example Seagate = Seatools (download off their main site) just make sure you download the accurate program for your hdd.

ill run the HDD Tune and let you guys know. Still waiting for the memory test to finish but so far 83% with 0 errors. I was thinking it was my mobo but really hoping against it.

I am finding it difficult to check my processor. Does anyone have a good one for me? The AMD overdrive test recommended for my processor doesn't run.
 
Is your hard drive filled up?

You probably checked it already and that may not be the problem, but you never know for sure unless you check it (which is easy to do).
 
Well if you want to make sure the processor is stable/proper voltage or if you wanna see if its the cause of the BSOD you can rune Prime95 (http://files.extremeoverclocking.com/file.php?f=103) for 2-3 hours. If it doesn't overheat/bsod/error out then you are fine.

Id test the GPU on a friends PC and if it passes mark it off (450w+ PSU). Then if you have a friend that wouldn't mind letting you hook your entire system up to his rig (minus the motherboard from yours) then you could knock the rest out. Even worse case if its not a AM2+ board your processor shouldn't be the issue if it passes Prime95. I am pretty sure its the motherboard but I always like to make sure vs RMA/Buying new parts first.

If you have such a friend bring him some lunch too :P
 
K, tried to run the test on the processor and hard drive but rebooted the computer after the memory test and the computer died. Won't turn on. Swapped out power supplies and it still refused to turn on. I think it is officially the motherboard.

If this could still be caused by the processor let me know, otherwise I am getting a new mobo. Very much dislike replacing those >:/ Posting another thread about which one to upgrade to.
 
No even when the processor is bad it usually posts and gives you a error code (black screen white writing at the top left usually) Same thing will happen with ram that isn't properly put in (not all the way down)

Just a personal preference here but I was always told ASrock made trash/cheapo boards for Emachine quality . You might wanna try your hand with a ASUS/Gigabyte/MSI board. I have used all 3 through the years with 20 or so PCs and I have never had a issue with the boards other then being confused at setting/overclocking them (manuals are junk :) )
This is just what I have heard over the years...it could just be bad luck of those I spoke with too.
 
Smells like a dodgy Asrock board...you could possibly send it back to RMA for repair/replacement...id do that asap, because the I/O problems with the keyboard would be a sure sign of something wrong with the motherboard.

If your not too hooked on keeping the mainboard...I'd look into grabbing a AMD based board for yourself, gigabyte makes a ton and their quality has been pretty damn good in my experience, hell Biostar has treated me halfway decent too, running a Biostar TPower N750 right, now has ran pretty reliably.
