Its time to upgrade!!!

Oh, you have private messenging disabled. I was gonna PM you my phone number, and when you get to the store you can give me a call and tell me what cards they have at what price and I can tell you if it's a good deal or not.

the psu's brand is " wintech electronics group "

for arguments sake... if i were to upgrade the PSU then it would open up a larger capacity for better cards... would it be worth it to do this? or would my mobo and cpu still be holding me back..... and if it(mobo, cpu) were holding me back would it be better to get the 8600 to hold me until i can do a completely new system or not bother and make due with the set-up i have...

how do i say this without it making no sense... lol...

so say i get a 8600 but then down the road decide to build a new comp.. would it be worth while now to get a better card than the 8600 that i could put into the new comp or just get an 8600 and then when i build a new comp get what ever is best... cause im seeing that 3.0PCI-ex is coming soon... obviously im limited to my selection by my PSU CPU and mobo currently... but if i build a new one then im open for ALOT more choices...

lol... ahh the joys and headaches of technology...

thanks again guys im slowly coming down from my state of discombobulation

I would just get the 8600 to hold you over for now, and then save up to build an entire new PC. Because by then, Nvidia will have released their DX11 cards as well which may bring ATI's cards prices down or maybe there will be a better bang for the buck Nvidia card.

i should be able to recieve pm's .... i didnt set anything to private... and i checked my settings so i should be able to receive... weird

well im gonna hit up the local stores and see what they got... wish me luck... if all else fails i will put some money onto my CC and order online...

thanks again... and i will bbiab to tell ya how ive made out :D

In your USER CP, on the left hand column click EDIT OPTIONS...then under the ''Messaging & Notification'' area you need to have a box checked that says ''enable private messenging'' then go down the bottom and click save changes.

Oh but do you have the ''Receive Private Messages only from Contacts and Moderators'' box checked?

That may be it.

nope... o well not too too important i suppose...

well im back from the 2 stores and only one had something i could use... since i do not want to wait even a few days i got myself

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produ...7&cm_re=radeon_hd_4350-_-14-102-817-_-Product

for 50$ it will give me a improvement and when i get myself a new job im gonna build a computer from scratch... im still hesitant about this card, but i can always take it back or sell it off to someone else so im not to worried about it...

anyways about to install it and see how it goes

Umm, dude did you seriously buy that card? It's like 10% better than what you have now, not much at all.

It's a piece of crap, will still not be able to play any games whatsoever.

Sorry, but you just wasted time and money!

like i said i can always take it back or sell it off... doesnt matter much... i just dont have the time to wait to get a better one... i live in a small community... no best buy, no nothing like that at all...

im just gonna have to bite the bullet soon anyways and builda whole new computer... this much has become very obvious to me and really sucks... i will prolly end up selling my current computer to a friend, and go from there... or keep it and use it for regular duty and have a true gaming system... im just so bleh about the whole thing now...

im gonna log in and see how much difference it has made for me... i feel as though it will make a noticeable improvement... if not o well.. ill take it back

well its not 10% better

its actually worse... such a waste of time... and money im ripping the damn thing out right now and taking it back... fml

LOL well I was guessing, I knew that card sucked anyway.

Just get the 8600gts man, even if you upgrade your whole PC later, it's still a decent card that you may be able to re-use for a little longer depending on how graphically intensive the games you play are.

Yeah, that card's pretty bad, but I wouldn't think that it would actually make it worse.... Did you install the ATI drivers that probably came with the card?

ya did it all and shizz got the latest updated drivers from ati and it was still craptastic...

took the whole computer back to the shop when i returned the card... they messed with a few things and now with my 7100 im running at 30fps while killing shit... just flying around and not doing much im hitting 60fps...

but like you guys said if i want to game im gonna need a proper gaming machine...

so i plan on buying borrowing and stealing what ever i need to make it happen... lol... with all the new tech coming out soon i expect prices to drop, as you guys have said, and in the next few months im gonna see what i can do to build a machine that will satisfy my needs...

i havent decided to sell my current computer or not yet... might just keep it and use it for regular computer use... keep it xp and play my old games that are not 7 friendly...

it will be rather funny... as the new computer will have 3-4 games on it and thats it... lol

Whaaa? what kinda game are you playing again that a 7100gs can do 30fps with??? You sure they didn't change your card?? LOL

If a 7100gs is giving you 30-60fps, an 8600gts is gonna give you like 200 LOL
