Itunes collecting information while retrieving album artwork...

When I ask Itunes to get the album art for all the music in my library, a warning message pops up. I can't remember exactly what it says but it's something about warning me that Apple "collects information" from my computer when I update album artwork in my music library. What exactly does this mean? Should I be worried?

i think apple collect information about the music, i think they might be able to tell if you downloaded it illigally or whatever, so if you do download music illigally you should be worried, but as i hope you don't, you should have no problem :D

As far as I know the "collects information" message is referring to how the album art is coming from Amazon. In order to do this they need to look over how your music is tagged (Artist, Song Name, Album, etc.).

I think this might be a little far fetched. There is no way of telling if a file has been downloaded illegally/legally from iTunes. Even if they were looking at what files you have on your computer (which they aren't) they would only be able to see file names, which doesn't prove if a file is legal or illegal.
