iTunes does not run!.. help?

I recently brought a new video iPod.
And it seems that iTunes does not like my computer.
i've tried 3 versions... the latest 7.02... a different build... 7.01
and a completely different version... 6.5.
All to no avail, neither iTunes will run on my computer.
I think its a conflict?... or a memory read error or something?
It works on my friends computers but just not mine.
Someone please help with a solution?

it should doesn't start up!...
i've found an alternative for now... called Media Monkey.
But!... obviously iTunes is much better
The installation was fine. I'm just incapable of running it.

Processor Intel Pentium D: 830?
Memory: 1GB
Hard Drive: 500GB

I think i'm well in the minimum spec. I've had problems with certain installations that think my processors crap. But I usually split the .exe files and install them seperately. But it doesn't matter cause its installed already?

(Windows XP: Media Edition)
 
i had the same problem.
ive used a program called regseeker to uninstall every thing from apple on my computer and clean my registry, so every thing about apple should be deleted from my computer.
when i did that, i just downloaded the latest version from apple.com and installed it and wow wow wee waa, it works fine.
