When i click on itunes to open it a message appears which says, itunes cannot locate the CD configuration folder. Then itunes opens and when i plug my ipod in, it says the software which enables itunes to communicate with the ipod is not installed, then it says you must uninstall the software for it to work properly. But i can't. when i try to uninstall from add/remove programmes it says the windows installer cannot be accessed and that this can occur if you are running windows in safe mode. which i'm not. I have also tried deleting each itunes folder seperately by going through my computer, C drive, programme files. Which do delete but when i try reinstalling it again says that windows installer could not be accessed.
I also tried last night phoning the ipod/itunes support line but in the end i gave up after being on hold for over 20minutes. i will try again tomorrow.
any other suggestions ?
