Itunes wont add??

Ok, long story short, itunes wont add my MP3 files. It will only add regular cds.

Type of File: MP3 Format Sound (.mp3)

Itunes should be able to add it. It plays the songs but wont give me the option of adding it to my libary. If drap and drop them items will be in my libary but then i get the " can find file" notice when i eject the cd.

Any clue whats going on? I could have swore i made some of these cds in Itunes too... Checked google but i didnt seem to fit my problem

That happened to me once, have you tried opening a separate window to the directory where your music is and dragging it into iTunes?
