iTunes wont play

i cant play itunes on my pc any more, this happened after i changed my mobo, andrepaired xp any solutions?
i don't want to reinstall iTunes and loose all 600 songs(i was up 2 days straight putting those songs on there and dont want to do it again)

move all the music files to a drive somewhere and then reinstall iTunes. I am not sure if this will work/ is possible. Only a suggestion. GL
 
i have 2 partitions, one for xp and the other for backup. so basically all my itunes music is on the second partition so i cant loose it. thats a pretty easy way to do it if you dont have an external hard drive or anything ;)
 
Sounds like Itunes registry got scrambled, you're probably going to have to reinstall Itunes unless you have a registry backup somewhere.

So do it this way then pc-tech, it sounds like a good idea. Invest in an external hard drive if you only have one internal drive.
 
so... put your music on that and then reformat if you wont be losing to much. thats what i would do
