anyone else having issues with their iphone with windows 7 x 64

I receive an error itunes could not connect with this Iphone because of an unknown error "0xe800065"

anyone found a work around?

it seems a lot of people are having this problem. try reinstalling. maybe try a different version. are you using iTunes 9?

You are not alone..Itunes is very quirky with win7 x64.

I've been struggling all week since I got my new iPhone!

works about 60% of the time..

i just have a probelm with i tunes all the time. mainly because it takes a minimum of a pentium d to decode standard defination video. i only have a pentium 4 and an x800pro which i feel should be good enough to decode sd video!!!

damn, cool so im not the only one. Yes I am using windows 7 x64 with my Iphone. My itunes version is 9... I downloaded it two days ago, I am trying to get a couple of apps for it and I need to have Itunes... Maybe I should try version 8? Apple must know of this issue correct?

thx for all the replies

No issues here, running iTunes 9.0.2 with my iPhone 3G 3.1.2 on Windows 7 x64.

You are lucky!

iTunes is sketchy here! Randomly freezes up and gets (Not Responding).

When it does work--sync are slow and screen periodically goes grey!

It's not speedy by any means, usually takes a minute for it to launch, followed by 1-2 minutes before you can actually use it when your iPhone is connected, and very slow response time. But when I'm patient, it works!

Okay, so it is 'suppose' to be slow--or at least thats normal!

got any error logs or event viewer logs that say anything specific?

Me personally, I never get any actual error messages--it just randomly freezes--and eventually unfreezes.

I don't have that behavior with anything else so I am kinda stumped--but it does start working after a period of 'freeze'

in all honesty m i have i tunes on win7 32 bit and it performs just as you said slow unresponsive and appearing to freeze but eventually working again, i just assumed it was i tunes and stopped using it, but then i have no Ipod

Im pretty sure winamp works with both ipods and iphones as well as itunes, but is a faster, lighter program that looks better. I'd look into switching to winamp.
