okay i never really had a problem with him, because hes never going to get a game banned...its America. but then i was watching G4 when he was doing an interview about bully and something about him like a vibe he was giving of or something, it seemed like he had an agenda almost like he didn't even care about video game violence...like he has some kind of hidden motive, he was acting very immature for his age and also very apathetic almost like hes just doing it for attention.....did anyone else notice this?

He is very immature. Thompson has e-mailed various people about the "evils" of video games, but when they respond to his e-mail he threatens them with legal action, claiming they e-mailed him first. He even took on Penny Arcade and he lost horribly. According to his logic, someone who plays a violent videogame will commit a violent crime. If that logic is true then why haven't I led the police on an hour chase throughout the city? I played Mortal Kombat when I was young and you don't see my ripping someone's heart out. Thompson is the real life attention whore. You'd think he'd realize that he's just providing free publicity for Rockstar and Take Two.

I would love to have a conversation with him about his views so I could understand him just a little bit more, but I know he'll be nice at first then then turn into a complete jackass once you voice your own opinion. Maybe he has a superiority complex or something and wants complete control over the video game industry.

yeah definitely, like one part in the interview Kevin perrera was trying to talk with one guy asking him about how he treated video games around his children and before the poor guy could answer jack blurts in "hey I'm a father to!" and I'm just thinking whats up with this guy?! he wont stop talking, he kept interrupting everyone, near the end they had to cut his mic because Kevin couldn't go to commercial!

all he did was reiterate the same point over and over and got shut down, each time it seems like he just wants to see his name everywhere and hear the sound of his own voice, he loves the attention i guess
