Javascript is not enabled??

i was going to play a game on candystand.com, just to kill some time, but when i loaded the game it stopped and told me that javascript is needed to play the applet and would need to be enabled.

i am currently using 3 browsers, ie6, netscape7.2 and mozilla firefox... all of which say javascripts, or active scripting are enabled.. yet the problem persists..

any suggestions??

The same thing happened to me. I have two browsers IE6.0 and Opera. The IE is default without Java capabilities. I know that. But I installed Java Runtime Enviroment 2.0.14(I think). Now Opera says that Java and JavaScript is enabled, but if applet is situated is on the page, it won't load (error).
So if you find solution(reason) for this please share your knowledge with me. ;o)

Same here, with opera sometimes i have this problem whin a java applet, but i still use opera since its amazing.

another thing that has struck me as being odd, is that these games played before i downloaded the recent java plugins for ie...

co-incidence.. i dunno

if you allready have installed Sun JDK, check if java VM(virtual machine) is activated too and if you IE accepts java sripts in the IE security option. this
should solve your problem

ciao
