how hot is it?...if u dont know how to find out download the program "SpeedFan" and get the results...maybe u could buy more fans for it...

The problem is that it Ventilates the heat Outside of the case. the hardware is fine, but the outside is Really Hot. Im right next to the case to its really making me sweat even at night.

NO i cannot turn it off. No point having it if I dont use it

Ok lets break this down...

You dont want the Heat inside the computer.
You dont want the Heat outside the computer(in the room)

Try ventilation to the outside?

Did you build the computer yourself? If yes, it is probably underclockable. But that probably won't make much difference. What are the specs of the hardware and case, if you did build it?

yeah, i Built the rig.

Its a Steel FUll tower by Antec
Power supply is thermaltake's "ButterFly"

5 fans:

2 intake
2 Exhaust
1 Side panel

Other specs aree in my signature

Well you could underclock it but I doubt there would be much heat difference. What is the positioning of the computer relative to the rest of the components?

Also, you could try watercooling if you have the $ to spend and you want to add it in. Plus there are some externals that might accent your theater. :)

Its under my table to it its in a corner. uh.. is that what u asked for?

Well if its that far how can it be making you hot? Computers don't make that much heat, at least my two don't. I am running two computers and an xbox simultaneously and have felt no heat. They are all within a foot of me.

Do you have a window? Because you feeling that much heat might mean there is something wrong with the computer.

the widnow is open yet i feel a heat. The computer is furthest away from the window though. plus its in a corner. I think the heat gets trapped in the corner. plus theres a table blocking the top, Not to mention my Huge Dell Monitor. And the power suplly fan exhausts in the rear also.

Thats the problem. You should probably get it out of the corner, away from the monitor, and near the window. You could also try some of these if you are willing to spend money. Just route the heat elsewhere.

You can try bigger fans for one but keep in mind all the fans in the world won't help if there is not good flow around the computer. So I would move it from the corner where you currently have it. Another cheap fix would to be to get one of those cheap clip fans and point it at the back of the case to facilitate air flow over, around and through the PC.

As for the comment/ question someone made about "the PC shouldn't generate a lot of heat." Well they do sometimes. Example, I have two external hard drives connected to my PC sitting ontop of my desk and they are VERY warm to the touch. Hot infact. I use to keep them on top of my PC case under my desk but the heat was way too much. My point here is the processor is not the only part generating heat in the case.

Good luck brother

Virtually all the electrical power to your pc ends up as heat in the room. The only way to cool the room down is to throw the heat out of the door or window by various methods, or the rest of the building via the furnace or air-conditioning ducting. A few methods have been suggested. Keywords, "out of the room".

I already made some comments in another thread

Same thing, well sort of, with my computer. I always have a window AC unit in my room (like right now) long before my mom turns on the central AC because without it, my room is about 80ºF, because of my computer.
