Jittering monitor

my screen jitters every now and then and i dont know why. could there be any reason for this? i think i need a new graphics card so could this be the problem. its very annoying. thanks :confused:
 
Is you monitor close to any magnets, speakers, electronic devices and such? I don't think your video card would be effecting this, as opposed to your monitor itself. If you have a spare, you can always check with that and if it still happens; then you can conclude the video card. Or you can do it vice versa and check if there are any firmware updates for your video card and work that way.
