Any of these should be able to open them:
Corel Paint Shop Pro
Adobe Photoshop with JPEG 2000 Plug-in
Apple QuickTime 6.0 or later
Programs such as Paint Shop Pro and Adobe Photoshop should be able to convert them into JPEG with no problems.
(If you are having trouble converting them, but not viewing them.. just do a print screen and paste it into an imaging program. A bit lame but it works.)
