Jumper Settings

I have a new mobo with 6 sata ports and no ide channels, I have 2 sata to ide/ide to sata convertors,
I intend to use 1 sata HDD and 1 ide HDD also 1 ide optical drive,
My question is; do I need to set the jumper settings on the ide drives?

Depends on the converter. Usually, if they are set to master or cable select you are fine.
