ok, i want 2 see if it's possible 2 OC my computer, i have 2 sets of jumper setings on my mobo, 1 set vertical, 2 horizontal, the default settings were on the vertical 1's, i took the little plastic thing off, and put it on the horizontal pins, it didnt start up, but it started up without the pins on either set? does that mean the mobos locked?

EDIT: i downloaded ClockGen, but dont know how 2 use it.

It has only been two hours there is no need to bump up your thread already.

Using jumpers is a extreamly dangous way to OC your comptuer(They normally go from jumps from about 2.8ghz(the normal) to 3.6ghz), instead go into your bios and try and OC, or there are several programs that can OC for you, but I don't have to vast a knowlegde on it so I'll wait for someone else to post.

Don't double post in only a couple hours.[Edit: Actually it wasn't even a hour and a half]

We'll need exact information on the mobo, manufacturer and model. With this info we can find the proper clock generator used in the mobo.

Can't find any info on it really, but I know it's a Dell 8P277 motherboard. Atleast it should be.

hmm, ok, it's in a tight spot, and it opens up with the side that expand, soo i gotta pull it out of where it's at and open it , be back in like an hr. :D.

EDIT: 250W.

ok now seriously, why did it need a bump this time, yeah it had been a good while since your previous post but it was only about three down the list from the top. have a bit of patience, this board is international. I.E. some people might be in bed for about 8 hours and just be seeing this.

somehow, in SpeedFan, i got the CPU 2 boost a couple MHZ, now it's running around 1799.68, i havent got it 2 1800 yet, which is the original clock, i wanna try 2 get it 2, maybe 1900? 2000?
