So i've been researching and asking questions for quite some time, and i think that i've narrowed down everything to what i want, but there are a few questions. If i were to keep everything the same, and replace the E6750 processor with a Q6600, would i notice alot of bottlenecking and performance decrease? Or is a Q6600 a good match for the motherboard that i have? (I will not change the motherboard, if the Q6600 will not work with what i have listed, then i will simply stick with the E6750. Thanks
)
[Processor] Intel Core 2 Duo E6750 - $211
[RAM] G.SKILL 2GB (2 x 1GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 800 (PC2 6400) $129
[HDD] Western Digital Caviar SE16 WD2500KS 250GB 7200 RPM SATA 3.0Gb/s Hard Drive $65
[CDROM] SAMSUNG Black 18X DVD+R drive $29
[Case] NZXT Black Apollo case $70
[Motherboard] GIGABYTE GA-P35-DS3R $129
[Power Supply] Corsair 520w $99
[Graphics] EVGA 8800GTS 640MB - $370
Does everything else look okay and compatible? Mainly i'm wondering about the E6750 being replaced with the Q6600 though. thank you.
