Hello, I am wondering if there is a type of cloud processing that allows a computer with low computing resources (say, a raspberry pi or other similar single board computer, or just an old tower) to use another computer, a personal cloud computing server, to compute for it. Like say i had a massive computer server in my home, could I make it where other less powerful computers could dump their processing work on that one computer, thus centralizing processing work within my network, and allowing weak computers to operate like stronger computers? Is it possible for this kind of cloud processing to be done? I know there are cloud computing companys like "Slicify" where you can buy or sell "Compute Power". How does this work, how do other computers utilize spare processing power from various computers on the internet, and is there any way I can use this same model, but with one stong computer computing for several weaker computers on my network?
