Just A Little Confusion

Hi,
I just looked at my PC whilst it was booting, for the first time in a while, and notest that it said the CPU had a clock speed of 466 Mhz (66*7.0) and DDR2 speed of 132Mhz, now I can't understand this, it is the computer in my sig, and it is 533Mhz ram, 2 sticks that are basicaly identical and 1.8Ghz, this got me a bit worried, but when I fire up CPU-z, gives the info in the attatchments, now the ram is advertised as PC2-4200, 533Mhz, I am a bit confused with it all, as it is rated as half that in CPUz, and less in the Bios, and the Processor speed is confusing me aswell, could anyone explain this

theres nothing wrong with the CPU speed, its the core speed thats important, and thats normal for a dual core processor.

Where did you see that? CPUz does detect the CPU speed so by the time you reach windows everything is operating as it should. The processor speed is ~1600MHz becuase it is running in power saving mode, it clocks back up to 1.8 when it's needed.

Ahh, thanks for clearing that up, I saw those figures on the POST screen, i thought it was running a little quick for a sub 500 mhz computer
