Whats Windows Xp Pro 64 Bit Itamium and can i run it on my AMD 64 3700+

I would say it would be ok. AMD 64s are designed for 64 applications so I don't see why not.. I could be wrong but I'm pretty sure your able to.

That is a port of WinXP tailored specifically for servers using Intel's Itanium processor.

It won't work, because Itanium is not x86 compatible.

nah i got, Windows xp pro and windows xp pro 64 bit from my collage as a package i get like 20 programs for like $20 aus, i love in, and i was just woundering again if i got to install windows XP pro before i install window Xp pro 64 bit????
